Forget about cold brewed coffee, it’s time to try a smooth glass of cold brewed iced tea. You will not believe how easy and delicious this is!
It’s not sun tea or hot tea with ice, it’s a great method to make your iced tea with only cold water and tea leaves. It’s my favorite because it ensures that your iced tea is never bitter and always naturally sweet!
You will need…
A tea of your choice! The ratio is one tea bag for every 6 to 8 oz of water depending on your favored strength. For this recipe, I like to use peach tea because it is a summer essential for me and my family!
Your favorite add-ins. I used, honey, mint, and raspberries in mine . You can also add peaches, agave, lavender, lemonade, or anything else your heart desires!
What you need to do…
Fill your pitcher with water and add tea bags according to the ratio above.
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate it for 6 to 8 hours for white or green tea and 8 to 12 hours for black or oolong tea.
Remove teabags: since we used peach tea, we refrigerated it for 6 hours.
Add your add-ins: we added honey (about 2 tablespoons), a few sprigs of fresh mint, and a handful raspberries.
Your sweet cold brewed iced tea will last 3-5 days covered, but I doubt it will last that long!
