This morning a friend emailed me photos of our happi products at the New York Gift Show. Once again, Two's did a great job on the booth making the happi items look so great. At this stage, the prototypes have been produced, the catalog is out, and it's up to retailers to sell them in their stores. So hopefully by the end of this year you'll be able to purchase these cute happi products at a shop near you! I love the happi bunting and the diaper covers. Can't wait to get samples of our own!

New curtains in my sunroom

New curtains in my sunroom

As my craft weekend was starting a couple of weeks ago, I decided to add some brightness to my sunroom. I wanted everything to be bright and happy while my friends were here. I added a quick hot pink wide strip of fabric to my sunroom curtains, made out of one of my Sunshine Linen fabrics. The green pattern of my curtains is a print from my Kumari Garden collection. I forgot to take before pictures of the curtains before the strips were added, but I do have an even older before picture of what my sunroom looked like a little over a year ago when John Ellis came by to photograph our home for Romantic Country Magazine.

So here's the way-before picture, and then the new bright, fun, and fresh curtains that cheer up the room:

I love the pink and green combo! Maybe you noticed, a lot of other details have changed in that room since that photo was taken - a new hanging light, couch, tablecloth, pillows - I love mixing things up!

What do you think? A change for the better?

If you're a fan of Dena Designs on facebook, then this is news from last week, but with more pictures. My newest baby girl bedding is for sale! It's called Bali Blossom, and can be found for sale at Babies R Us and other fine retailers. It's bright and sunny, and designed with all floral designs, which I love for a little girl's room. Pink, green, yellow, and coral - I really love it, and it sounds like a lot of fans on facebook really love it, too!

Flea Market Finds

Flea Market Finds

Craft week was such a huge success! There is so much to reflect on, not to mention I still have to put away all of the supplies and catch up on real life studio work. So before I write about that, I wanted to show you the great flea market finds I bought yesterday with all the girls at the Alameda Antique Fair. In the meantime, if you want to see what we were all up to on Thursday and Friday, I posted crafting photos to my facebook page here.

First, here is some great fabric I found, plus a little glittery pin.

Here are a couple of glass paperweights that totally go with the collection in my living room.

I want to use this little ceramic girl on top of a cake.

This embroidered fabric was too good to pass up.

Cute birdie candle holder.

I love this bamboo tea set, with matching cups and saucers (that have a cookie spot!)

These vintage boots were $30 - I'm wearing them right now!

I think this ceramic jar will look great in my kitchen. Not sure what to put in it yet.

And finally this little deer! It's already covered in moss, so it's going to look like it's lived here for years.
